"Jim" is short for Lt. Col. James C. Brown, U.S. Army,
and was promoted to that rank on December 1, 2004.
He has taught at the Army War College, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Jim is Bill's first-cousin on, on his Dad's side, the son of Bob and Germaine,
who now live in North Carolina. Jim is a graduate of Cherokee High School, in Medford, New Jersey and went onto graduate from Lynchburg College, Virginia, attaining a ROTC Scholarship

He served in Desert Storm (Gulf War I) as a member of General H. Norman Schwarzkopf's staff.

Jim's birthday is on December 10
